Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter is stirring up some
controversy.

The 17-year-old actor, who is about to bare it all
in the London stage revival of the play Equus has
upset some parents.

Parents of Radcliffe's fan are disappointed that he
has taken on such a role.

Radcliffe's spokesman Vanessa Davies said: 'Daniel
does not want to step away from Harry Potter but he
does want to show he is an rounded actor capable of
very different and diverse roles.

What are your thoughts on Daniel Radcliffe daring
it all for the play Equus?

who cares, He's an actor, that's what he does, pretends to be something he isn't.

I surely wouldn't wanna date someone who's work involves being a poser. But if it works for him, he should go for it.

oh for the love of God, it's not like all actors are perfect! Hell, for all we know, the chick who plays Hurmione could be the queen of blowjobs! She could be making them wait each in turn to get some out side her dressing room. I like how pwople always try to get these picture perfect impression of actors.

Er, who cares? As has already been stated, he's an actor, which means he *acts*. It's not as if all actors stick to one specific genre, and it certainly shouldn't be assumed that just because someone stars in a movie geared more for younger people that they're always so PG/PG13.I don't really see what's to be disappointed/upset about, as long as you don't let your eight- and nine-year-olds watch the play. Silly naive people.

He's an actor, as most of you have stated. So, let him get on with it.

The play will be over in June, and from what I've heard, he's doing one hell of a job. I mean that in the best possible way.
